News from Patrick Flynn

The new draft

As promised, I prepared a new draft of the equal rights ordinance and submitted it to the Clerk‘s office for introduction and distribution.  I haven’t seen it on that web site yet but KTUU did a story and posted a copy you can find here.

Update: the Clerk’s office has posted both the new version and the amendment.

Please note that the ordinance itself is nine pages and the tenth page is an amendment that would change the definition of an employer from a company with one employee or more (other than the owner, obviously) to a company with five or more employees.  As discussed previously, I’m not sure if this is a good idea or not but feel it’s a topic worthy of discussion.

Please take a look and offer any suggestions that come to mind!

Regards,

Patrick Flynn
