News from Patrick Flynn

Farewell, Mr. Jones

Last week I heard through the grapevine that Greg Jones, who serves as Executive Director of the Office of Community Planning and Development, had tendered his resignation.  Following our Friday work session I sought him out and confirmed the bad news – he’s on his way out.

I, for one, am sad to see him go.  On the occasions I worked with him I found Greg to be responsive, thoughtful and willing to consider a variety a viewpoints prior to making decisions.  While I didn’t have a chance to ask where’s he’s headed next I wish him the best of luck.  And wherever he lands, I’m sure he’ll do well.

Regards,

Patrick

  1. Patrick — Wow, this is big news. We had the pleasure of working with Greg on a number of issues and couldn’t agree more with your assessment: he was always attentive, insightful and responsive to the issues and concerns that we brought to him. He was a true asset of the administration and will be missed.
